Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Ocado Group. As a key member of our Workload Management Team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering seamless integration between our cloud-based Ocado Technology Platform and Edge Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain management services for edge devices using IoT solutions.
  • Provide visibility of the state and health of the components we look after.
  • Design solutions that can be automatically deployed to numerous sites around the world.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using cutting-edge technology.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and supporting teams to understand their needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AWS and cloud technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of our world-class engineering team.
  • Support production systems as required outside of standard working hours.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with cloud service providers, primarily Amazon Web Services.
  • Solid programming skills in Python and a deep understanding of the underlying techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-a-code tools, such as Terraform.
  • Familiarity with DevOps culture and its fundamental tools and concepts.
  • An ability to focus on details and rapidly identify and resolve issues.
  • A strong sense of collaboration and adaptability.
