We are seeking a seasoned IT Audit Manager to join our Group Internal Audit team at Provident Polska in Warsaw. As an experienced technology assurance professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our IT auditing capabilities and driving risk-based audit practices.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires significant experience in IT auditing and developing audit capabilities within complex, regulated financial institutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT internal or external auditing, with expertise in assessing information technology risk and ensuring compliance with IIA and ISACA standards.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate IT Governance frameworks and internal control systems to ensure they identify, assess, and manage information technology risk effectively.
  • Develop and implement efficient, comprehensive IT internal audit methodologies aligned with industry requirements.
  • Provide technology assurance across geographical areas of responsibility, including preparation and delivery of IT internal audit operational plans.
  • Deliver high-quality audit and assurance services, focusing on technology disciplines, and verify the effectiveness of IT risks identification and mitigation strategies.
  • Report audit findings and propose recommendations addressing root causes and organizational impact.
  • Contribute to periodic reports for management and the Audit & Risk Committees.
  • Build and maintain business relationships through effective partnering with senior IT stakeholders and influence necessary change in technology risk management at senior levels.
Requirements
  • Strong ethical skills and a high level of integrity.
  • A Degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
  • A professional certification like CISA, CISSP, CRISC, COBIT, PRINCE2, or CISM.
  • 5+ years of post-professional qualification experience in providing third-line technology assurance within regulated financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of DORA requirements and adapting IT processes for compliance.
