We are looking for a seasoned leader to oversee the development and maintenance of our network infrastructure. As a Network Architect Leader, you will be responsible for steering the ship of our WAF & reverse-proxy advancements.

Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining key tools within anti-bot protection and HTTP acceleration, enabling our customers and merchants to seamlessly access Allegro.

We are seeking an experienced manager who can take care and responsibility for their team's development, have excellent communication skills, and value the "servant leadership" approach.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams working with the use of 'agile' methodologies and have the ability to manage and build relationships in a team of skilled engineers.

This role requires good prioritization skills, familiarity with making difficult decisions in the name of product and company, and the ability to listen, motivate and provide constructive feedback as well as select adequate development activities for their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development and maintenance of our network infrastructure
  • Steering the advancement of WAF & reverse-proxy technologies
  • Managing relationships with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure teams
  • Mentoring and developing team members to achieve their full potential
  • Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to align on technical solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT leadership roles
  • Proven track record of success in leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and DevOps practices
