As a key member of the Market department within the Corporate and Investment division, you will be responsible for managing the FX systems for STP and FX Portfolio and Risk Management.

Job Description

In this role, you will create intelligent logic and integrate with other systems, such as Murex, Back Office, or Regulatory systems. You will also manage the implementation of new products or capabilities that the FX Business may need across different countries, with a special focus on Murex integration and configurations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Essential:
  1. Wide experience working with Murex, especially with FX products (Cash and Volatility) - Mandatory
  2. Deep knowledge of FLEX libraries in Murex and PYMX architecture and having experience with it.
  3. Murex Functional knowledge. Modules.
  4. Hands-on business analysis skillset across the full project life cycle: able to deliver high-quality technology solutions on time and budget.
  5. Ability to work in a demanding environment and engage with senior front-office users.
  6. Previously have worked in Front office or Middle/Back Office or Risk Management areas.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to support the authoring of business documents and presentations, running workshops and managing relationships with stakeholders.
  8. Accurate and comprehensive gathering of requirements to enable the formation of coherent specifications.
  9. Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and the role of the Business Analyst within it.
  10. Experience in the integration of products and events in Murex or other MO/BO systems, having a solid understanding of end-to-end product management.
  11. An ability to conduct careful, structured analysis on complex problems or requirements to identify and present defensible conclusions and solutions.
  12. Experience in delivering logical and comprehensive test strategies and clear, concise test cases.
  13. 5+ years working in Financial Services/Banking.
Highly Valuable but Not Essential:
  1. Expertise in SQL databases and Murex database architecture.
  2. Murex technical knowledge. Services and other technical modules.
  3. Linux/scripting.
  4. Technical knowledge about parallel computing and evaluation / AWS.
  5. Agile development/Software life cycle.
  6. Ability to code in Python some scripts for benchmarking files or generating ad hoc reports when necessary.
  7. Spanish knowledge.
