Job Overview

We're seeking a talented Gameplay Developer to join our team at Wargaming. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for creating engaging gameplay experiences for our players.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new game modes and logic on the game client
  • Develop high-performance in-game components
  • Improve and expand our existing technology stack
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and services
  • Write comprehensive tests to ensure the quality of our code

Requirements

  • Commercial software development experience
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Proficiency in C++ and/or Python
  • Familiarity with design patterns and principles
  • Experience with asynchronous and multithreaded applications
  • Knowledge of CPU and memory fundamentals
  • Basic understanding of computer networks

Nice to Have

  • Experience with web application development (frontend, backend)
  • Familiarity with databases and message brokers
  • Experience with distributed systems
  • Passion for computer games and game development
