The role of a Data Manager for the Data Catalog and Data Marketplace at AB Volvo is to oversee the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures. This includes managing the data catalog, ensuring data quality, and promoting data literacy throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance, experience with Informatica IDMC, and knowledge of cloud data platforms on Azure. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures
  • Manage the data catalog, ensuring data quality and accuracy
  • Promote data literacy throughout the organization
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements

Required Competence

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or similar
  • Experience in data governance and management
  • Familiarity with Informatica IDMC and cloud data platforms on Azure
