Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Expert to join our Global Mobility Services team as a specialist. This role will involve working closely with clients to understand their tax technical needs and providing expert advice on the implementation of tax software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients from Tax, HR, and Global Mobility departments to comprehend and advise on tax technical aspects related to tax software implementation.
  • Contribute to product design and workflow within tools, bringing a tax technical perspective to tool development.
  • Lead project management of client processes where KPMG is assisting as technical experts.
  • Gather and produce tax/technical requirements to a high degree of specification.
  • Support in providing demonstrations and marketing of tools to existing and prospective clients across all applications.
  • Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, raising client invoices, and chasing payments.
  • Oversee scope management and identify requests that are out of scope.
  • Assist with all client queries related to our tools.
  • Participate in business development and proposal creation.
  • Assist in analyzing, testing, and reviewing tax updates in our tools.

  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, people, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • A dynamic and flexible individual who adapts well to change.
  • Comfortable working within a global team environment.
  • Able to persevere in challenging situations while remaining focused and motivated during routine tasks.
  • Confidence to question and challenge client needs.
  • Proactive in following up and managing expectations effectively, prioritizing tasks when necessary.
  • A thorough understanding of the commercial environment.
  • Experience in coaching and developing junior staff members.
