Site Reliability Engineer: Building Scalable Systems

Moon Active, a leading mobile games company with a global presence and millions of daily active players, is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join its team. This role will play a crucial part in creating innovative games that deliver exceptional quality.
The ideal candidate will support production activities to sustain the company's platforms and tools, troubleshoot issues, develop and maintain technical solutions for Moon Active's production infrastructure, and ensure proper documentation for all supported SRE activities.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing monitoring and control of the availability of different services in the production environment 24/7;
- Monitoring and detecting problems in the production environment, as well as troubleshooting 1st and 2nd tier infrastructure and application issues;
- Collaborating with Operations, Product, R&D, and Support teams to escalate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues;
- Providing accurate documentation for all supported SRE activities and standards.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Linux-based systems;
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python/Bash/etc.);
- Basic monitoring expertise;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work in a team and rotating shifts 24/7 (~3-6 night shifts a month).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS/GCP;
- Experience with monitoring tools and vendors like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, NewRelic, Signalfx, CloudWatch, DataDog, etc.;
- Proficiency in SQL and IaC (Terraform);
- Knowledge of distributed systems, containers, and Kubernetes.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated annual salary: $120,000 - $150,000 depending on location and experience;
