">We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Finance Hub Risk Expert to join our team at GSK. As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will be responsible for providing effective risk management support to ensure adequate risk mitigation, root cause analysis, and related remediation.
">The successful candidate will lead risk management and controls monitoring activities, oversee controls testing, and review process risk assessments. You will also influence senior stakeholders to ensure appropriate risk mitigation actions are taken and develop annual risk plans.
">Key Responsibilities
">- ">
- Provide risk management support to ensure adequate risk mitigation, root cause analysis, and related remediation.">
- Lead risk management and controls monitoring activities for certain region/market and global processes.">
- Oversee controls testing activities provided by a third party and report on controls effectiveness and exposures.">
- Review and report on process risk assessments and identify high-risk areas, including root cause analyses of major operational issues.">
- Influence hub/Head of Global Process Tower to ensure appropriate risk mitigation actions are taken.">
- Manage hub/global process continuous improvement programs and the FRMC team to reduce risk or improve team efficiency.">
- Ensure adequate oversight of third-party global process and regional locations as part of monitoring and controls testing plans.">
- Deliver annual risk assessment of Finance operations and relevant global process.">
- Drive compliance of enterprise risks and global risk mitigation initiatives at the hub and/or global process tower.">
Requirements

- A minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience, preferably with a combination of Big 4 and industry experience in Audit, Internal Controls, SOX, Risk, etc.">
- International/global scope experience.">
- Educational background in Finance/Audit.">
- People management experience.">
- Exposure to senior stakeholders in a global environment.">
- Professional accounting certification (local CA, UK ACCA, US CPA, or CIA).">
- Experience in use of technology and data analytics tools with a risk focus.">
