About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our Accounting Team for VC Global Headquarters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the financial accounting process for Hoya's European headquarters office with possible extension for other countries under SSO organization.

Main Duties:

  • Accounting service delivery in Accounts Receivable / General Ledger area in line with accounting principles, company policies and guidelines
  • Intercompany invoicing process management and maintenance
  • Financial data analysis to ensure booking accuracy and completeness
  • Collaboration with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
  • Open item clearing in SAP
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations preparation on a monthly basis
  • Hoya's monthly financial closing process execution in a timely manner and adherence to IFRS accounting policies
  • Trial balances accuracy and completeness maintenance in SAP
  • Financial administration activity support
  • Hoya Group and statutory audits support
  • Proactive identification and implementation of improvements and efficiencies to streamline the close process and/or reduce risks
