About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Front-end Developer to join our team at skills matter sp. z o. o. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end application development, with experience in building and launching successful user-centric products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user interfaces using React, Backbone.js, and other front-end technologies
  • Work closely with Product and UI research teams to advance the usability and experience of our applications
  • Take ownership of frontend technologies in our application stack, with a focus on security, resilience, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Contribute to the design and development of multiple features in our ultra-high performance system, processing immense amounts of data
  • Participate in the development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing, and ongoing support of systems

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience focused on front-end application development
  • Experience building and launching successful user-centric products
  • Experience with technologies in our stack: React, Backbone.js, Webpack, Jest, Grunt, React Testing Library
  • A solid understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Experience building single-page, data-heavy web applications, and asynchronous data handling using REST APIs
  • Familiarity with agile and cloud-driven development processes using CI/CD systems
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, specifically a proven track record to effectively work with others within a dynamic environment
  • Ability to architect technical solutions at a high level as well as dive into the implementation
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with minimal direction, a sense of intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and positivity
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and to understand a wide variety of technical challenges to be solved
