Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at iteo. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a focus on using Kubernetes for container orchestration.

About the Role:
  • Design and implement scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring seamless integration with various applications and services.
  • Manage and maintain AWS environments, including monitoring and troubleshooting, to guarantee optimal performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications to the cloud using Kubernetes, leveraging automation tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate infrastructure and application deployment using tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes, minimizing manual intervention and improving overall efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for cloud infrastructure management, driving innovation and improvement within the organization.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience working in a DevOps environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong experience with AWS, including cloud architecture, security, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, including infrastructure as code and continuous integration.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines, ensuring efficient and automated deployment processes.
  • Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools, enabling version control and collaboration.
  • Experience with Docker, Helm, monitoring, and logging solutions, ensuring robust and reliable cloud infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing technologies and best practices, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken), ensuring clear and concise communication.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • AWS DevOps certification and/or AWS Solutions Architect certified, demonstrating expertise and commitment to excellence.
  • Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification, showcasing in-depth knowledge and skills.
  • HashiCorp Terraform certification, highlighting proficiency in infrastructure as code and continuous integration.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, reflecting market rates and exceptional qualifications.
