Job Description
We are currently hiring an experienced Application Security Engineer to join our Security team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct secure application design reviews and participate in threat modeling exercises.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to review security aspects of feature candidates.
- Promote security knowledge across development teams and inspire security champions.
- Create secure development guidelines and best practices.
- Validate, track, and prioritize security issues found through bug bounty or internal tools.
- Develop security automation tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Ability to read and understand source code.
- Experience with native code, mobile applications, web-technologies, or cloud platforms.
- Previous experience with SAST/DAST tools.
- English fluency.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Previous experience as a developer before moving to security area.
- Any security certifications.
- Bug bounty experience, triaging findings.
- Script writing and automation ability.
