Pwrteams is seeking a seasoned Senior Security Engineer to lead the integration of Fastly into our streaming infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and reliability of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust security measures to protect our streaming services.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for monitoring and enhancing security processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of security frameworks.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats.
  • Develop cost-efficient security strategies to support the growth and reliability of our services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and their application in security.
  • Foundational knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, OWASP, ISO27001.
  • Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automating and building internal security tools.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of AWS, including security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, etc.
  • Familiarity with application security tooling, including Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Static Application Security Testing (SAST), and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).
