State Street is a leading global financial services provider driving digital transformation and expanding business capabilities using industry best practices and advanced technologies. We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Cloud Data Lake activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop end-to-end Cloud Data Lake solutions, including data ingestion, modeling, and distribution.
  • Build data integrations between on-prem/cloud-based systems and design high-volume data ingestion components and solutions.
  • Develop and implement cloud infrastructure to support current and future business needs.
  • Participate in technical design, application build, configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.

We're looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex applications. You should have hands-on experience with Cloud data migration on AWS using Databricks and maintaining cloud-based database systems.

Requirements:

  • Development experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex applications.
  • Proficient in Oracle RDBMS and Python/Java/SQL coding.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud data migration on AWS using Databricks and maintaining cloud-based database systems.
  • Experience in building systems using modern, scalable, resilient, cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud Security in AWS/Azure, specifically IAM Roles & Policies, Security Groups, and Encryption keys.

This role plays a critical part in our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), which is vital to State Street and enables our business to deliver data and insights to clients. As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to our digital transformation and help expand business capabilities.
