We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer Specialist to join our team at 7N Sp z o.o. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using AWS cloud services.
About the Role:
- Design and implement efficient ETL/ELT processes to collect and transform large-scale data from vessel-based systems.
- Orient your solutions towards cloud environments such as AWS and Databricks, ensuring high performance, reliability, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver suitable technical solutions.
- Develop automation scripts to establish seamless integration of data solutions.
- Partner with Data Scientists and BI teams by providing well-structured datasets and improving query performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Data Engineering, DevOps, and Cloud Computing to refine workflows and adopt industry-leading practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, data lakes, and big data technologies.
- Strong command of Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Hands-on knowledge of DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
- A solid grasp of data governance best practices, security protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in business English (min. B2).
