Job Description
We seek an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance data solutions. The role involves working with large datasets, optimizing data pipelines, and leveraging cloud technologies to support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Develop and optimize big data processing solutions using Databricks and PySpark
- Write efficient SQL queries for data transformation, aggregation, and reporting
- Implement and manage data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures on AWS or Azure
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security, adhering to best practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to maintain performance and reliability
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to support data-driven initiatives
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation for data engineering workflows
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Strong experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics
- Proficiency in Snowflake and SQL query optimization
- Hands-on experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) for data solutions
- Knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse architecture, and big data processing frameworks
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
