Job Title: Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Services Automation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing cloud platforms across key hyperscale cloud providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cloud platform ecosystems in AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud providers.
  • Gather functional and non-functional requirements and develop architecture solutions.
  • Perform well-architected reviews for existing workloads and provide recommendations to improve the maturity of the landscape.
  • Implement LEAN principles to optimize cloud deployments using infrastructure-as-code and automation.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
  • Develop dashboards to provide visibility and UI to empower users and admins with self-service capabilities.
  • Execute proof-of-concepts, migrate, and set up application workloads on Azure and AWS.
  • Collaborate with the security team to analyze and create standards for various cloud services.
  • Enhance the security posture by automating technical enforcement of policies and guidelines.
  • Improve consistency and operational efficiency by automating various aspects of cloud management.
Requirements:
  • Strong software development experience with proficiency in one or more languages, including Python, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, NodeJS, and AngularJS.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure concepts and administration, including Linux or Windows, DNS, Network, Firewalls, and Security.
  • Proven expertise in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cloud/infrastructure architecture patterns and practices.
  • Thorough understanding of infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools, including Terraform, Chef, Puppet, ARM, and cloud delivery models.
  • Proficiency with AWS and/or MS Azure Compute and Platform services.
  • Advanced knowledge of SDLC/Agile practices and tools, including CI/CD pipeline, automated testing, code reviews, Jenkins, Jira, and REST APIs.
  • Self-motivated, team player with initiative and flexibility.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt, train others.
  • Self-organized, ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cloud certifications, such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with microservices and container orchestration.
  • Demonstrated experience in infrastructure/cloud architecture.
  • Security and Firewall experience.
Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience, or MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of scripting and software development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working on Azure and/or AWS.
