Scheduler Specialist

Job Description

The successful candidate will join our team as a Project Planner at Alstom, where they will work on delivering high-quality projects that meet the needs of our clients. The primary focus will be on managing project schedules, ensuring effective resource allocation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in project planning and scheduling, including resource management, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also be proficient in MS Project and other relevant tools, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

The Project Planner will be responsible for:

• Co-operating with Work Package Managers to maintain resource planning and ensure project schedules are properly managed
• Providing regular reports and feedback to management on project progress and critical issues
• Performing schedule analysis & trade-offs to close identified gaps or schedule issues
• Organizing and leading periodic project schedule sessions for the area
• Preparing schedule and progress reports on time, with the highest quality, and providing support to the Project Manager on all issues related to project schedule

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

• Bachelor or Master Degree
• Experience or understanding of project planning/scheduling including resource planning roles
• Knowledge of MS Project and other MS tools
• Familiarity with schedule simulations, various scenarios, and changing project goals
• Fluent in English and Polish (proficiency level)
