Driving Technical Direction

As a Platform Architect, you will spearhead the technical vision and solution architecture of various ERGO Group products. Collaborating with architecture, DevOps, security, and development teams, you'll design highly available, scalable, and secure solutions for our complex environment.

We utilize a diverse range of technologies including Java EE/Spring/.Net, Azure (DevOps, AKS), AWS (ECS, lambda) K8S/Docker Swarm, Terraform/Ansible, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, ArchiMate/UML, Kafka, Redis, MS SQL/Oracle DB/PostgreSQL, Prometheus/Grafana, SonarQube/Artifactory.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Gather requirements and needs from stakeholders
  • Develop designs and technology proposals
  • Define the scope of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)
  • Implement Proof of Concepts (PoC), MVPs, and SPIKEs
  • Prepare materials for security assessments
  • Create documentation – reference architectures and present solutions
  • SUPPORT early adopters
  • Disseminate newly developed standards and recommendations across the organization
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Fluent English language skills (minimum B2 level)
  • Experience and interest in software development and design
  • Developer experience
  • Knowledge of frontend/Java or .Net
  • Experience in Azure, AWS, or K8S
  • Experience in solutions design
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices – awareness and ability to perform DevOps tasks
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Open-mindedness
