About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Director to join our Business Solutions IT Team. As a key member of our global team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and contributing to the strategic success of our organization.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Project direction: Provide strategic direction and oversight to project teams, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Team leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise in project management methodologies.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Risk management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Project governance: Ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy's delivery methodology.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Professional experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, with a background in Software Engineering being a plus.
  2. Language skills: Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 business level.
  3. Soft skills: Strong relationship-building, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  4. Leadership and project management skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple projects concurrently, and assess and mitigate risk.
  5. Knowledge of ITIL V3 and/or V4, with certification being an advantage.
