We are seeking an Accounting Operations Executive to join our finance team in Poland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and optimizing our accounting processes.

Main Duties:

  1. Manage accounting books, perform monthly and yearly closing – AR, AP, GL, FA – support and oversee SSC in India (daily cooperation with SSC team).
  2. Contribute to the preparation of management reports with variance analysis and audit schedules.
  3. Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  4. Review compliance with Polish tax laws.
  5. Resolve discrepancies in general ledger accounts.
  6. Manage fixed asset register.
  7. Communicate with external parties such as auditors, tax consultants, bankers, lawyers, and government authorities.
  8. Identify improvements to operating effectiveness.

Candidates' Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance or economics.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in an independent accountant position.
  3. Experience with finance shared service centre.
  4. Polish taxation rules (VAT, CIT, WHT) and advanced SAP knowledge.
  5. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. MS Excel, Word proficiency; Tagetik preferred.
  7. Excellent English language skills for daily communication with SSC in India.
