Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Business Performance Analyst to join our team at Huntsman in Osnabrück. As a Junior Business Performance Analyst, you will report directly to the Regional Performance Manager for Europe and play a key role in optimizing the financial performance of our business.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the Regional Performance Manager: Assist in the creation and analysis of monthly financial statements, forecasts, and budget activities.
  • Analyze and Provide Decision Support: Utilize financial decision-making tools to identify value-enhancement opportunities and provide recommendations aligned with our company strategy.
  • Foster Financial Awareness: Contribute to improving colleagues' understanding of key factors influencing business results and promote value-enhancement activities.
  • Project Support: Assist with global ad-hoc requests and financial projects.
  • Reporting: Ensure timely delivery of accurate, relevant, and user-friendly reports explaining business results in comparison to budget and forecast.
  • Cost Analysis: Support the global Elastomers Business in analyzing quality costs.
  • Interface: Collaborate closely with all business functions, particularly proactively supporting the Commercial Team.

Your Profile:

  • Education: Completed studies in the finance field or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Ideally 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, build, and foster relationships.
  • IT Skills: Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and management information systems. Practical experience in Power BI and SAP is beneficial.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability to new requirements and dynamic priorities within the organization is crucial for success in this role.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and self-confidently under tight deadlines.
  • Language Skills: Good German language skills and fluent English language skills are required.
