Performance Engineer

As a key member of our team at B2B S.A, you will be responsible for leading non-functional testing efforts, focusing on performance, resilience, and reliability. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our Open Banking systems.

This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to gather and review non-functional requirements, developing comprehensive test strategies, and creating performance test cases and scripts. You will also lead peer reviews, drive defect prioritization, and coordinate with external teams for test planning and execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and review non-functional requirements.
  • Developing comprehensive test strategies and plans based on thorough risk analysis.
  • Creating, executing, and reviewing performance test cases and scripts.
  • Driving defect prioritization and resolution with technology teams.
  • Coordinating with external teams for test planning and execution.
  • Producing detailed non-functional test reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Supporting and setting up monitoring frameworks for production environments.
  • Actively reviewing and improving existing testing practices and integrating non-functional testing activities into CI/CD pipelines.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

At least 8 years in testing with a minimum of 5 years in non-functional testing.

Strong experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner and JMeter.

Expertise in Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe, and CI/CD processes.

Proficiency in tools such as Jira, ALM, or QTest, and familiarity with database queries and web service technologies like XML, SOAP, and JSON.

Experience in the banking domain and payment systems is preferred.
