About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Team Lead to join our global team at Lionbridge. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of applications using .NET technologies.

Your primary focus will be on designing process automations using C#, Microsoft .NET Core, and various system APIs. You will also be responsible for creating and modifying code, performing unit tests, and fixing defects. Additionally, you will utilize Azure services to build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of applications using .NET technologies
  • Design process automations using C#, Microsoft .NET Core, and various system APIs
  • Create and modify code, perform unit tests, and fix defects
  • Utilize Azure services to build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions
  • Analyze and design solutions according to state-of-the-art standards: clean code principles, cloud-based services
  • Coordinate requirements gathering with other teams/functions
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure coding standards are met
  • Estimate development effort and ensure its correctness
  • Coordinate development work during project lifecycle
  • Prepare and deliver life-cycle documents as required by project
  • Ensure timeliness
  • Manage quality of deliverables
  • Suggest changes to development process and drive its implementation
Requirements
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a small team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • 8+ years' experience in software development according to development standards
  • Working knowledge of C# and Microsoft .NET framework, .NET Core, MS SQL Server, T-SQL
  • Ability to write technical specifications, recommendations, and development documentation
  • Knowledge of various architecture, software design patterns
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
  • Good knowledge of Entity Framework, WEB API, and Azure
  • Good knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Analysis
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET (MVC5)/ASP.NET Core development will be considered as an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of English, both in speech and writing
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work to deadlines
