Freelance Scientific Writer

Alphanumeric Systems Canada Ltd is seeking an experienced Freelance Scientific Writer to create high-quality content for various medical communications deliverables.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Freelance Scientific Writer, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with our team members and client leads to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope;
- Developing accurate and concise outlines, on-target first drafts, and proactively incorporating data/revisions as needed;
- Prioritizing scientific accuracy, clarity, and ethics when creating, referencing, reviewing, or editing content;
- Writing materials with tone and language appropriate for the target audience and ensuring effective story flow is in place;
- Providing robust references and annotating documents as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of medical writing experience in a medical communications agency environment or in-house pharmaceutical company setting, or as a freelance writer;
- Fluency in written German and English;
- Experience working with Swiss regulatory organizations;
- Being legally eligible to work as a freelancer in Poland;
- PharmD or PhD; other life science degrees considered with relevant experience;
- Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), the internet, and database searches (eg, Pubmed, ClinicalTrials.gov).
This is a fully remote role available for freelancers.
Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be able to manage documents throughout the review process, and have excellent communication skills.
