Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze security requirements, including threat modeling, cybersecurity-related reviews, and vendor evaluations for approval.
  • Design and maintain the cybersecurity system architecture, while providing technical expertise throughout software, hardware, and manufacturing development.
  • Research and implement advanced security technologies applicable to automotive systems, including developing prototypes to address vulnerabilities in hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Identify and leverage embedded platforms and operating systems to design innovative cybersecurity solutions for future automotive deployments.
Required Qualifications:

You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with strong C programming experience and low-level development skills for embedded systems.
  • Solid knowledge of embedded systems development, networking, cryptography, resource management, and designing customizations, along with experience in security incident handling and threat management.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity engineering, including identifying threat vectors, conducting risk assessments, and working with tools like JIRA.
  • Preferred qualifications include knowledge of standards like ISO 21434 and UNECE WP29, relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GDSA), and experience with automotive communication systems (CAN, CAN-FD, automotive Ethernet).
  • Experience with advanced security technologies such as HSM, ARM Trust Zone, TEE, and hardware/software interface design (e.g., device drivers, BSPs), along with familiarity with Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, and AUTOSAR-compliant platforms.
