We are seeking a skilled Software Developer in Test to join our team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks to ensure the highest level of quality in our real-time data processing systems.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and product owners to formulate accurate acceptance criteria and ensure seamless integration with development processes.
  • Design and execute performance testing strategies to guarantee the stability and speed of our data processing systems.
  • Engage in collaboration regarding technical strategies and contribute to finding solutions to optimize our data processing systems.
  • Effectively communicate project goals and present testing results to stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality data for consumption by Data Scientists, ensuring its relevance and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the process of modeling machine learning algorithms by providing well-prepared data.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Python and Automation Frameworks: Strong development skills in Python for test automation, including CI Builds, SQL Unit Testing, and ETL processes, using frameworks like Gatling and Rest-assured.
  • Comprehensive Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases: Proficient in testing complex data transformations with both SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring accurate and reliable data processing.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Solutions and Full SDLC: Experienced with cloud platforms for Big Data (AWS, Snowflake, Astronomer) and adept in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), integrating testing into development processes.
  • Agile Methodologies and Performance Testing: Familiar with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and methodologies like TDD and BDD, with a focus on integration testing and capturing end-to-end system performance.
