This role focuses on category management in the Evidence Generation R&D Procurement Team, involving sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing category strategies, managing contracts, and ensuring suppliers meet performance requirements.
The Evidence Generation category plays a crucial role in the success of Global Evidence Generation teams. It encompasses fee-for-service outsourcing to support Value Evidence and Outcomes (VEO) and Epidemiology teams. This involves non-interventional services such as primary data collection, secondary data analysis, and literature reviews.
In this position, you will manage global medical categories, develop strategies with stakeholders, plan and execute contracts, negotiate with suppliers, and establish partnerships with business owners and suppliers. You will also identify areas for process improvements and implement procurement strategies to maximize supplier leverage.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement category management
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in English
- University degree
