Data Migration Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Consultant to join our team at ZF Group. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing Business Partner data migration projects using SAP S/4 Hana platform.

About the Role

As a Data Migration Consultant, you will analyze data requirements, design data migration strategies, execute migration activities, and ensure the successful transfer of data from legacy systems to SAP S/4 Hana platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, functional consultants, and developers, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of migrated data.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps
• Develop data migration strategies and plans, considering project scope, timelines, and client requirements
• Create and execute data mapping and transformation rules for Business Partner data migration
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from source systems to target SAP platforms
• Conduct data reconciliation and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve data-related issues and discrepancies
• Provide post-migration support and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth system transition for clients
• Document migration processes, methodologies, and best practices for future reference

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience as a Data Migration Consultant, working on data migration projects
• Understanding of SAP data models, data structures of Business Partner data object and data governance principles
• Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tools and techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data issues and provide effective solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience of work in project teams, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
• Fluent knowledge of English

Salary Estimate: €70,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on experience.
