Localization Coordinator

At Smith+Nephew, we're committed to empowering lives by taking the limits off living. We're seeking a skilled Localization Demand and Vendors Coordinator to join our team.

This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills to coordinate translation projects, manage vendors, and ensure timely delivery. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating a team of internal and external translation specialists to deliver localization projects on time and monitor ongoing projects.
• Managing 3rd party translation vendors, including onboarding, quality assurance, and resource reassignment as needed.
• Communicating translation process requirements with stakeholders to align on project goals and manage expectations.
• Identifying pain points and problem areas in workflows, suggesting solutions and process improvements, and updating training materials and internal documentation.
• Onboarding new requestors into the localization process to ensure smooth project operation.

To be successful, you'll need:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in project coordination or vendor management, preferably in the localization industry.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in spoken and written English (C1 or above).
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities.
• Experience with CAT and translation management tools, especially Smartcat.
• Open-mindedness to work in a diverse, global team and confidence in working from home, with a willingness to travel within Poland for team meetings.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
