Key responsibilities include:

  • Development and Documentation: Create and document a test concept that aligns with industry standards.
  • Test Design and Execution: Design and document test cases and procedures, ensuring traceability to specifications.
  • HIL Test Execution: Execute remote HIL tests to validate software releases.
  • In-Vehicle Testing: Regularly execute in-vehicle tests to ensure vehicle functionality.
  • Analysis and Review: Analyze and review test and qualification reports from other departments or external testing facilities.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Record and document faults in a ticket management system, prepare test reports, and participate in project meetings.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • MSc Degree in Electronics or Computer Science: A master's degree in electronics or computer science, or a related field.
  • Certified Tester Foundation Level: Certification as a tester foundation level (e.g., ISTQB).
  • Vehicle Communication Knowledge: Good knowledge of vehicle communication protocols, including CAN, LIN, BAP, Ethernet.
  • HIL Experience: Experience executing tests on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems.
  • ASPICE Process Knowledge: Good understanding of the ASPICE process.
  • Tools and Systems Experience: Experience working with tools and systems like CANoe, Doors, JIRA.
  • SEP Certification: SEP certification is preferred.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills: German language proficiency, experience working with Automotive OEMs.
