Job Requirements:

  • We are seeking a skilled Public Cloud Security Engineer to ensure the security and resilience of our Public Cloud infrastructure.

About You:

  • You have demonstrated knowledge of security features in Public Cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or OCI.
  • You have experience with containerized environments (. Docker, AKS, GKE, K8S).
  • You are proficient in using version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • You have experience with ETL solutions.
  • You possess programming skills in Python.
  • You have knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
  • You have basic knowledge of Vulnerability Management process.
  • You have strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas, facts, and opinions clearly.
  • You have strong problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify issues, analyze key information, make connections, and find appropriate solutions.
  • You have a results-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiently and effectively completing tasks to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Language Skills:

  • English level - B2.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing Vulnerability Management processes using security tools, such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Endpoints, Prisma Cloud or Aqua Security.
  • Experience in validating and enforcing secure configurations of cloud native solutions, using Azure Policies and DCS (Desired State Configuration).
  • Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in Azure (. Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
  • Knowledge of network implementations.
  • Familiarity with the Kusto Query Language.
  • Familiarity with Hybrid Cloud environments.
  • Strong interest in learning new and emerging technologies.
  • Extra points for cloud and security certificates.

About the Role:

  • As a Public Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms, including Azure, GCP, and OCI.

About the Team:

  • The team is a part of ING Global CISO department responsible for IT security within ING group and provides services for many organizational units all over the world.
  • It consists of 4 engineers with IT Security and Public Cloud experience.
