At INTER-TEAM Sp. z o.o., we're looking for an experienced and ambitious backend developer to help us continue developing our shared group-wide GraphQL API. Your primary focus will be on migrating functionality currently part of our booking solution into standalone entities, as well as exposing new features around purchasing, products, vehicles, and agreements.
Your Key Responsibilities- You'll work closely with colleagues in Sweden and Poland, collaborating on building a robust and scalable backend service.
- You'll possess a strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in both frontend and backend development.
- Core knowledge of Node.js/Express is essential for building backend services and APIs, as Express is a major part of our stack.
- We're looking for someone with strong experience in building and querying GraphQL APIs using Apollo Server.
- Familiarity with unit and integration testing using frameworks like Jest or Vitest is crucial.
- Understanding of how to design, build, and consume RESTful services is also required.
- Experience with integrating relational databases like Postgres and NoSQL databases like MongoDB is necessary.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation, preferably Azure DevOps, is a must.
- Proficiency with deploying infrastructure on Cloud, preferably Azure, and managing it using IaC tools like Terraform is essential.
- Experience with containerization using Docker is also required.
- Apollo Federation/Gateway experience is a plus, especially for large-scale service architectures.
- Understanding advanced GraphQL concepts like batching and caching for performance optimization is beneficial.
- Familiarity with logging tools like Pino and monitoring systems like Prometheus or Azure Monitor is desirable.
- Experience working in a monorepo structure is essential to manage large codebases with multiple packages and shared dependencies.
- Familiarity with techniques for rate limiting and throttling APIs, especially in high-traffic environments, is a plus.
- Real-time communication with GraphQL subscriptions, especially for features like live updates, can be valuable in the long run.
- Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms, especially OAuth2 and JWT, is crucial for secure APIs.
- An estimated salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
