Job Title: GL Accounting Specialist

Castolin Eutectic is a global leader in Maintenance & Repair Technologies with 100 years of experience and a presence in most countries worldwide. Our technologies include welding, brazing, thermal spray, and prepared parts to improve our customers' component lifetime and tackle specialist joining problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis and settlement of general ledger accounts
  • Preparation of financial statements and periodic reports according to IFRS standards
  • Keeping a register of fixed assets, accruals, and other relevant items
  • Reconciliation of the balance of the general ledger
  • Consolidation and confirmation of balances and transactions in group companies
  • Participation in activities related to month-end closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Creating and updating process documentation
  • Preparation of documentation for audit purposes
  • Active cooperation with other departments, company units, and trading partners
Requirements:
  • BA degree in accounting or related fields (business administration, economics, etc.)
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems (Baan V is an advantage)
  • High level of proactivity, resilience, and persistence
  • Ability to work in a structured, analytical, and careful manner, paying attention to the quality of work results
  • High degree of independence, flexibility, and communication and teamwork skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English (and other European languages are a plus)
