Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Expert to join our team. As a Senior Associate with German language skills, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, reports, and analyses.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Asset Management accounting transactions with precision, adhering to process documentation and standards.
  • Create and maintain asset master data, transfer, dispose, and sell assets, close and report activities, conduct physical inventory count, handle audit requests, and reconcile general ledger and subledgers accounts.
  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues, assist with financial audits, comply with standards, policies, and procedures defined, document, and monitor internal controls.
  • Contribute to process improvements, actively participating in a culture of continuous learning and adaptation.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Very good German and English language skills.
  • University degree preferable in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, or similar.
  • Profound knowledge of asset management and general accounting.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (esp. MS Excel).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Dedication and accuracy, strong organizational skills, ability to make decisions, and eager to learn.
  • Motivation, communication, teamwork, and ability to operate in a highly intercultural environment.
  • Intermediate in SAP or other ERP system.
