As an Environmental Impact Reduction Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in helping consumers and brands better understand their environmental impact and make more informed choices.

About the Product:

We've built our product using the Ruby on Rails framework and a monolithic architecture, leveraging AWS, kubernetes, Terragrunt, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Datadog, and PostHog to create a robust and scalable solution.

The goal of our product is to reduce the carbon footprint of our users and provide financial sustainability and well-being for consumers.

Your Daily Challenges:

  • Fixing bugs and optimizing performance: Identify and resolve issues to ensure our application runs smoothly
  • Ensuring system reliability: Resolve performance issues, establish an efficient triage process for handling issues, and maintain SLA compliance
  • Improving product performance: Resolve technical debt, optimize the release process
  • Staying close to our client: Maintain open and clear communication to understand needs and deliver the best solutions
