About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Chabre IT Services Sp. z.o.o. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our client, an international financial institution, in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to operational and market activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive data analyses and compile insightful reports to inform business decisions
  • Identify and suggest areas for process automation and optimization to enhance efficiency
  • Critically evaluate data quality and ensure the accuracy and relevance of information
  • Navigate and integrate data from diverse sources to produce a cohesive analysis
  • Prepare and present detailed reports tailored to the needs of stakeholders
  • Analyze internal policies and external regulations to ensure compliance in data handling
  • Develop functional documentation to support processes and project outcomes
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with a diverse, international group of stakeholders
  • Contribute to enhancing the team's knowledge and expertise in regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields such as Business Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a banking or financial services environment
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting standards, including ECB and EBA requirements
  • A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in data analytics or data science roles
  • Practical experience using SQL (SQL Developer) and SAS/4GL (SAS Enterprise Guide)
  • A curious and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • A strong sense of initiative and a proactive attitude
  • Effective prioritization and planning abilities
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with experience collaborating within and across multiple virtual teams on reporting projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data management, relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization
  • Capability to identify issues and synthesize facts and ideas to develop solutions
  • Proficient in English communication skills, both verbal and written, with a minimum proficiency level of C1
