We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our Country Servicing Business Services Team in Poland.

  • This role is responsible for recording accounting information, entering transactions, consolidating and verifying accounting records to assess accuracy and compliance.
  • The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of accounting and tax rules and processes in Poland, as well as experience with recycling and/or production industries.
  • They will be responsible for verifying accounting records to assess accuracy, completeness and compliance, preparing and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account and documents information.
  • Maintaining and balancing accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensuring proper coding of invoices in ERP.
  • Providing information to auditors and supporting the BSM and Chief accountant during annual external audit process.
  • Participating in VAT, CIT and other tax reporting.
  • Taking an active role in periodic physical inventory and fixed assets checks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or equivalent by experience.
  • +3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficient verbal & writing skills in Polish and English.
  • Ability to build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Quick adaptation to new technology tools and processes.
  • Team player.
  • Respect deadlines and plan own time accordingly.
