Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating Digital Content: Testing websites, applications, and software to identify accessibility barriers.
  • Compliance with Standards: Ensuring digital content complies with accessibility standards like WCAG.
  • Integrate Accessibility Testing into CI/CD Pipeline: Automating accessibility checks and incorporating manual testing where necessary.
  • Reporting Issues: Documenting and reporting accessibility problems, providing detailed information about the nature and location of issues.
  • Documentation: Preparing VPAT reports.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with development teams to fix accessibility issues and ensure new content meets accessibility standards.

Requirements

  • Experience in manual testing, including accessibility standards with Lighthouse or Axe.
  • Familiarity with Axe Accessibility Testing Tool.
  • Knowledge of WCAG developed by W3C.
  • Ability to set up and configure environments (Linux/BASH).
