To be successful in this role, you must have high-level expertise in Google Analytics (including GA4), Google Tag Manager, A/B testing tools, and 7+ years of experience working as an eCommerce data analyst or in a similar role. You should also have a graduate degree in Digital Marketing, Mathematics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Key qualifications include deep understanding of the eCommerce platform development process and how it integrates with tracking systems, familiarity with how eCommerce platforms are structured and how product data, user actions, and transactions are handled, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and working knowledge of BigQuery (advanced), SQL, and Excel.
Apart from these key qualifications, you should have hands-on experience with developing dashboards in data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI), experience with Hotjar, Clarity (or equivalent), ability to work in cross-functional teams and various level employees, structured yet agile approach, business acumen, and strategic understanding, results-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, team player able to build relationships, good interpersonal communication skills, and fluency in written and spoken English.
