About the Role

As an Area/Shift Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure your area of the business meets customer demands and targets. You will work closely with colleagues to address challenges and implement process improvements to drive productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain safety standards within your team and across your site
  • Monitor and maintain process efficiency
  • Prioritize routine team management and daily operational tasks
  • Analyse data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area
  • Discuss operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers
About the Team

Customer Fulfilment is the foundation of our business, handling over 1.5 million orders every day. We're based in Fulfilment Centres, which are at the heart of Amazon's fast-paced Operations network. Our centres are the 'First Mile' because it's where most Amazon packages start their journey.

Lots of different people work in our Fulfilment Centres, so there are plenty of opportunities for every skillset. Some of us work with physical products, while others analyse data to help everyone across the business make smart decisions.
