Position Purpose

We are expanding our IT team to empower the European business. This team will work with stakeholders across Europe, especially in the Netherlands. As a Senior Technical Lead, you will be part of our growing eCommerce team and be responsible for technical aspects and execution of one of our scrum teams. You will work daily implementing innovative solutions in our Composable Commerce setup with headless SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris APIs, Angular Spartacus Frontend, multiple ERP downstream and upstream systems, Elastic search and Informatica PIM. In this role, you will be responsible for the shape of our architecture with a focus on our ecommerce client facing components. You will deliver solutions with your scrum team of frontend developers, backend developers and quality engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design reusable ecommerce solutions with other tech leads and architect to drive further transition towards a microservice approach.
  • Design, develop, and maintain highly reusable ecommerce solutions by yourself and with other team members and CI/CD automation.
  • Lead the technical execution of scrum teams.
  • Mentor and support the technical growth of team members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders both technical and from the business side.
  • Actively participate in user testing and incorporating feedback into design revisions to improve user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design delivery.
  • Keep current with the latest trends and technologies and integrate new ideas as needed to innovate and maintain product competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years' experience in software development and at least 2 years of experience in a tech lead or architect role.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages, including Java and JavaScript.
  • Experience in Web Applications with Spring and Angular frameworks.
  • Experience in both monolithic and full microservice environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud solutions.
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD solutions.
  • Knowledge of software design and architectural patterns.
  • Experience in leading small teams of engineers.
