Software Engineer with Expertise in Java

As a Java Developer, you'll design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications, systems, and software solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of Java EE, including advanced proficiency in Java versions 8 and 17.

What You Will Do
- Collaborate within SCRUM teams, working closely with front-end developers, QA testers, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of new features in partnership with the front-end team.
- Continuously update and maintain existing software to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to stay aligned on project goals.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure smooth application operation.
Preferred Background
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in software development.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of Java EE, including advanced proficiency in Java versions 8 and 17.
- Application Development: Expertise in building applications with JSF, Servlets, and RESTful web services.
- Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with essential tools like Maven, Git, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, SQL, Spring, Terraform, and AWS.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to facilitate effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in AI: Enthusiasm for AI technologies and their applications in improving processes and integrations.
