Software Accessibility Tester

Eviden is seeking a highly skilled Software Accessibility Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating digital content, identifying accessibility barriers, and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate Digital Content: Test websites, applications, and software to identify any accessibility barriers.
• Compliance with Standards: Ensure that digital content complies with accessibility standards like the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Integrate Accessibility Testing into CI/CD Pipeline: Ensure that accessibility testing is an integral part of the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Reporting Issues: Document and report accessibility problems, providing detailed information about the nature and location of the issues.
• Documentation: Prepare VPAT reports.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to fix accessibility issues and ensure that new content meets accessibility standards.
• Staying Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and updates in accessibility legislation.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in manual testing, including accessibility standards with Lighthouse or Axe.
• Familiarity with Axe Accessibility Testing Tool.
• Knowledge of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) developed by W3C.
• Ability to set up and configure environments (Linux/BASH).
• Fluent in Polish and English (B2/C1).

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in writing automated tests using Robot Framework.
• Basic knowledge of security testing principles.
• Familiarity with SCRUM/Kanban methodologies.
