About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Management Developer to join our team at Link Group. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom applications and modules in the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Create custom applications and modules in the ServiceNow platform, focusing on ITSM, CMDB, or IRM.
  • Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
  • Workflows and UI Customization: Implement workflows, business rules, and UI customization to enhance the platform's functionality.
  • Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and applications via APIs and middleware.
  • Data Accuracy and Compliance: Maintain and update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Risk Management: Enhance and support risk management processes using the IRM module, including audits, policies, and control testing.
  • Platform Upgrades: Perform platform upgrades and implement new features as released by ServiceNow.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues to ensure platform stability and performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Documentation: Document system configurations, processes, and technical details for ongoing support.
Required Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience: 4+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in ITSM, CMDB, or IRM modules.
  • Scripting skills: Proficient in ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript, Jelly, Glide API).
  • ITIL knowledge: Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Integration experience: Experience in creating and managing ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • CMDB knowledge: Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping (for CMDB).
  • ServiceNow skills: Hands-on experience with ACLs, workflows, UI policies, and notifications in ServiceNow.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting skills: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Agile experience: Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Nice to Have

In addition to the above requirements, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification or ServiceNow ITSM or IRM Implementation Specialist certification.
  • GRC knowledge: Knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) frameworks.
  • Familiarity with other modules: Familiarity with ServiceNow SecOps, HRSD, or other modules.
