Job Description
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at IFS Labs, you'll drive and accelerate innovation in IFS products, delivering cutting-edge solutions to customers with the right technology at the right time.
You'll foster innovation, lead strategic research initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders, product, and solution experts. A Labs project can span up to 6-12 months, often running individually or in small teams.
A key responsibility is creating custom demos and providing exhibition support for major world-class events organized by IFS.
You'll engage in innovation projects, tactical, and strategic research in a fast-paced environment.
- Identify emerging technologies, industry trends, best practices, technological advancements, and market opportunities to foster innovation.
- Lead the end-to-end innovation process, including idea generation, concept development, and prototyping.
- Lead and facilitate ideation sessions, brainstorming activities, and innovation workshops.
- Document research findings, recommendations, and usages, including technical setup and process.
- Present and train on research/innovations to support smooth hand-off and adoption by IFS product and technology teams.
- Promote a culture of innovation by fostering collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, along with a strong background in software development.
- Passionate and in-depth understanding of latest technologies and trends.
- Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial mindset, and creativity.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Services, preferably Azure.
- Strong technical/programming skills with in-depth experience in Frontend and Backend frameworks and technologies.
- Experience in rapid prototyping and conducting proof of concept experiments.
