Your Role
  • You will be responsible for obtaining tasks from project leads, preparing functional and design specifications, and approving them with stakeholders.
  • You will ensure that assigned areas are delivered within required quality objectives.
  • You will provide estimations and contribute to project plans.
  • You will analyze scope alternatives and make decisions about area implementation based on your experience and technical expertise.
  • You will address area-level risks and provide mitigation plans.
  • You will report on area readiness/quality and raise red flags in crisis situations.
  • You will resolve crisis situations within your area of responsibility.
  • You will suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to products.
  • You will continuously improve your professional level.
  • You will collaborate with other teams.
Your Profile
  • You have at least 4 years of professional experience.
  • You hold a university degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • You have 3+ years of experience working in data engineering.
  • You are an expert in database fundamentals, SQL, and distributed computing.
  • You have experience with ETL orchestration and workflow management tools like Airflow.
  • You are proficient in Python.
  • You have experience with the Distributed data/similar ecosystem (Spark, Hive, Presto) and/or streaming technologies such as Kafka/Flink.
  • You have experience working with Databricks, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and/or other DBMS platforms.
  • You have experience with AWS.
  • You have excellent communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical teams.
