Game Economy Strategist

Simplicity Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Game Economy Strategist to join an exciting project in the heart of the gaming industry.

This pivotal role involves designing and balancing in-game economic systems based on player behavior and data insights.

You will analyze and optimize models for rewards, pricing, and incentives to meet player needs.

Create analytical frameworks to assess the health and performance of the game economy.

Build simulations and predictive models to forecast the impact of changes on the ecosystem.

Manage in-game item pricing and balance between free content and paid currencies.

Create diverse experiences for different player types.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and balance in-game economic systems based on player behavior and data insights.
• Analyze and optimize models for rewards, pricing, and incentives to meet player needs.
• Create analytical frameworks to assess the health and performance of the game economy.
• Build simulations and predictive models to forecast the impact of changes on the ecosystem.
• Manage in-game item pricing and balance between free content and paid currencies.
• Create diverse experiences for different player types.

Requirements:

• 3-4+ years of experience in financial modeling, predictive modeling, or data science in fields such as business, finance, marketing, e-commerce, or insurance.
• Strong skills in economics, statistics, mathematics, and financial modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• SQL / Python / VBA skills are a plus.
• Advanced English is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related field.
