Responsibilities and Expectations
As a Reporting and Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and administering our Business Intelligence (BI) system, ensuring timely reactions to issues, managing deployments, and building efficient data structures and queries.
You will design and implement data models, tune and optimize our system, and ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices, and provide support to stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Advance proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query (2+ years)
- Advance proficiency in Oracle or MS Sql databases (DQL, DML, DDL, DCL), ETL processes, including tuning and optimization
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization best practices
- Experience in creating functional, efficient and visually compelling reports
- Understanding of database concepts and network infrastructure
- Understanding of data management (permissions, recovery, security, monitoring)
- Proactive and data-oriented mindset, ability to work independently and as part of a team, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
